Yesterday, @chicopeehigh hosted its 17th Annual College & Career Fair, welcoming approximately 87 institutions, including colleges, universities, military branches, and technical education schools.
The event provided students with an opportunity to connect directly with representatives, explore a diverse range of academic and career pathways, and gather valuable information to help them plan for their futures. We were pleased to see such strong engagement from both students and participating representatives!
School Bus Safety Week: A Reminder for Drivers
Keeping students safe on the road is everyone’s responsibility. The City of Chicopee is proud to partner with BusPatrol to help promote safer roads for our students and community.
This School Bus Safety Week, check out the safety tips below from BusPatrol to learn how you can be a safer, more attentive driver and help protect students as they travel to and from school.
Remember to slow down in school zones, stay alert for children near bus stops, and always stop when a school bus has its red lights flashing and stop arm extended.
Together, we can help make our roads safer for everyone.

Keeping our students safe is a community effort! The City of Chicopee is proud to partner with BusPatrol to promote school bus safety and protect our students every day.

Chicopee Comprehensive High School World Language students celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month with a special cultural experience featuring live Bachata and Salsa demonstrations led by Roshay Roshay of Roshay’s Latin Dance. World Language students and staff volunteered to participate in the dancing, making it an engaging and memorable experience.
The event also featured a gallery walk showcasing students’ research projects on various Spanish-speaking countries, highlighting the rich cultures, traditions, and diversity of the Spanish-speaking world.
Thank you to Roshay for sharing the joy of Latin dance with our CCHS community!
